About Forum Psychiatry
Psychiatric care works best when it starts with a complete picture.
At Forum Psychiatry, we believe that mental health is inseparable from physical health, lifestyle, and the unique circumstances of your life. Our approach draws from the full landscape of evidence-based medicine — including medication, laboratory evaluation, nutritional support, and lifestyle intervention — not because we apply all of these to every patient, but because we believe every option deserves consideration.
We are not dogmatic. We do not arrive at appointments with a predetermined plan. We arrive with questions, a thorough understanding of the evidence, and a genuine interest in what you are experiencing and what you want. From there, we build something together.
Every visit at Forum Psychiatry includes education, options, and support. You will understand what we are considering and why. And you will leave with clarity — not just a prescription.
We work with high-functioning adults who take their health seriously and understand that mental clarity is foundational to everything else they want to accomplish. Our patients are looking for more than conventional psychiatric care, and want a knowledgeable, thorough partner who can help them think clearly, function at their best, and make informed decisions about their health.
Forum Psychiatry was built on the conviction that people deserve a psychiatrist who takes them seriously, considers the full picture, and works alongside them.
Sara Adrados is a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a decade of experience in healthcare and a clinical focus in precision and integrative psychiatry.
She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Miami and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida.
In her practice, Sara focuses on the intersection of psychiatric symptoms and underlying biological contributors — including hormonal fluctuations, metabolic factors, nutritional status, and lifestyle. She works with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and often-overlooked conditions like PMDD. While diagnostic clarity matters, Sara approaches each patient as an individual first, understanding that labels can be useful tools without being the whole story.
Her clinical style is characterized by thorough listening, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to collaboration. She believes that evidence-based practices and patient education are the foundation of good care.
Sara also practices in-person for Florida residents only at RootMD in Indialantic, FL.
